Father Mother,my loving God

 The Lord will cause righteous and praise to spring forth before all the nations.  Isaiah 61:11

Father-Mother, my loving God,

I would know myself as you know me:

resplendent in your shining good,

radiant and delighted

to be doing what I should.

You know I am on the upward path, 

even when I think I’m straying,

for Love, you are my shepherd

and in your flock I am staying. 

When I miss a friend  not here

and feel sad or all alone,

your spirit flows and fills my heart.

From you I’ve never flown.

Dear God, one Mind creating all,

I need not search my shifting thought

for truths to make my life secure. 

My house is anchored on Truth’s rock.

Here and now we all exist

in the oneness of God’s law,

one home, one heart, one joy expressed,

jubilant and filled with awe.

How to say with singing lips

that I know I am so loved

by the one that thought me up,

God Almighty high above.
